The Anthony Education Fund is an amazing scholarship program that provides financial support to students who would otherwise be unable to pursue a college or university education. The fund is managed by KorosecTech, a technology company in Canada, and Crunch, a venture-backed financial services company in the United States.
The scholarships are given to both freshmen and transfer students who demonstrate exceptional academic and scholastic achievements. Recipients must display strong aptitude in math, science, and technology and demonstrate leadership both inside and outside the classroom. Applications for the scholarships are available on the organization’s website in early December each year.
There are two types of scholarships available. The first is the Anthony Education Fund Scholarships, which are awarded on the basis of the applicant’s academic achievement. Scholarships are awarded up to $10,000 each year. The second is the Crunch Financial Excellence Award and is given to students who show outstanding achievement in the areas of entrepreneurial and leadership. This award is given up to $15,000 each year.
KorosecTech and Crunch strive to ensure that the students who receive the Anthony Education Fund scholarships are well-prepared and qualified to succeed in college. To that effect, the recipients are offered a personalized mentorship program with professional industry leaders and guidance regarding financial literacy.

NAACP Awards $175K in Anthony Education Fund Scholarships
The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) awarded $175,000 in scholarships through its Anthony Education Fund this week. The scholarships, which are administered in partnership with the HBCU Connector and Microsoft, will enable students attending Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) to continue their education.
The Anthony Education Fund was established in 2019 as part of the NAACP’s 100th anniversary celebration. The scholarships are part of the organization’s goal to provide greater access to post-secondary educational opportunities for Black students.
The $175,000 in scholarships were shared among 72 students who were selected for their exceptional leadership, dedication to their studies, and commitment to service and activism. Each recipient was awarded a minimum of $2,500 in assistance with tuition and related educational expenses. The scholarships also provide mentorship, career coaching, and internship opportunities.
According to Beverly E. Smith, NAACP vice president of education, “We are honored to provide this scholarship opportunity to 72 students attending HBCUs. Education is a powerful tool, and we hope these students use it to create a brighter future for themselves and their community.”

Anthony Education Fund Receives a Boost from KorosecTech and Crunch through NAACP
Recently, the NAACP (National Association for the Advancement of Colored People) has given a major boost to the Anthony Education Fund by partnering with two tech giants, KorosecTech and Crunch. This partnership will help to provide educational opportunities to underserved Black and Hispanic youth, who are often overlooked and underfunded in the educational system.
Through the partnership, KorosecTech and Crunch will provide technology, equipment, and resources to the fund in order to better serve the students it helps. The Anthony Education Fund provides educational support, mentoring, and other resources to Black and Hispanic students who may otherwise be unable to access these services.
KorosecTech and Crunch both acknowledge the importance of the Anthony Education Fund in helping students to reach their full potential.
